Hoopers

Hoopers is a fun, low-impact sport for dogs and owners of all ages and fitness levels. Dogs navigate courses with hoops, barrels, and tunnels—no jumping required!

Our small group classes offer a great way to train alongside other dog owners, but if your dog isn’t suited for groups, we also offer 1-2-1 sessions. For more info or questions, feel free to contact us.

With a pay-as-you-go system, you have the flexibility to attend classes at your convenience without being tied to a rigid schedule.

Hoopers Group Classes

Our Hoopers classes welcome both novice and experienced handlers, helping you build your dog's confidence and strengthen your bond through shared learning. Work at your own pace while developing skills such as recall, impulse control, neutrality around dogs and people, and general obedience.

We offer Intro to Hoopers workshops for complete beginners or those looking to refresh their foundation skills, with progression to Level 1 and then Level 2. We also offer Hoopers Course Workshops were you can come and learn skills on new and exciting courses that are not taught in our weekly classes.

*If your dog shows reactivity towards other dogs or people, we recommend scheduling a private session first. This helps us assess their needs and develop the best approach before transitioning to a group setting. Our goal is to provide the ideal path for your dog's training and socialisation.

Hoopers 1-2-1 sessions are designed for reactive dogs, allowing them to enjoy the sport we love. With both trainers' full attention, you'll receive personalised guidance and have the opportunity to ask any questions during your session.

Why choose Hoopers for your reactive dog?

Our training approach focuses on developing essential skills through positive reinforcement, empowering dogs to make confident decisions. This not only enhances their Hoopers abilities but also improves their overall training and behaviour.

We've seen how this method can transform reactive dogs, redirecting their focus from triggers to the enjoyable challenges of Hoopers. This mental and physical stimulation promotes a happier, more balanced dog, helping to manage reactivity while strengthening the bond between dog and owner.

Discovering Your Choices for Hoopers 1-2-1 Sessions

To start your Hoopers journey, schedule an 'Introduction to Hoopers' session with us (1-2-1). Contact us HERE for availability. This session introduces you and your dog to Hoopers, allowing us to meet you both and familiarise your dog with the environment and equipment.

Afterwards, you can choose from single follow-on sessions or cost-effective block booking packages to continue the Hoopers fun.
